This FX animations are made using Pixel FX Designer. The format delivered is.png spritesheet with transparency for pixelart-style. The pixel-art style ones come in 4 different sizes: 400x400, 200x200, 100x100 and 50x50 to fit to your game resolution needs. The HD style ones are 400x400 with black background to be used with additive blend.

The FX-Map can replicate and subdivide an image or pattern input over and over again, and control the distribution of each pattern thanks to parameters and logical functions. It is one of the most powerful Atomic Nodes, as well as the most complex node available in Substance Designer.
Similar to Pixel Processor, it is up to you to define and create the functions that determine the behaviour and output of this node
It is recommended that you are very familiar with all aspects of Substance Designer, and have no problems creating mathematical functions for parameters, before you attempt to use the FX-Map node.
Keep in mind that unlike other nodes, the majority of an FX-Map's behaviour is not determined by the parameters, but rather by editing the FX-Map functions inside of it.
Color Mode: Color, Grayscale Set what color mode the FX-map calculates in. Color mode will be much slower than Grayscale.
Background: Sets the background starting color onto which to composite results.
Render Region: Lets you set the starting pixel range for each side of the FX-map, resulting in a stretching effect.
Tiling Region: Lets you offset the tiling distance of the FX-map.
Cull Outside: Performs an optimization by culling patterns that fall outside of the normal range.
Roughness: Functions as a depth and opacity multiplier. It applies a bias to the FX-map blending process.
Global Opacity: Sets the global opacity of the FX-map's output.

RAY MCINTYRE Jr. is a Visual Effects Society (VES) award winning Supervisor that brings 20+ years of experience in the film industry and oversees all creative operations at Pixel Magic. Ray has frequently served as the primary Visual Effects Supervisor for feature film productions. In that capacity, he provides on-set supervision, plate/element photography as well as 2nd / VFX unit direction. Ray has been recognized for his achievements as Visual Effects Supervisor. Recently, Ray shared a 2004 Visual Effects Society Award in Outstanding Supporting Visual Effects for his role in Warner Bros. 'THE LAST SAMURAI'. He also earned an Emmy nomination in 1996 for HBO's acclaimed 'TUSKEEGE AIRMEN' and won an International Monitor Award in 1998 for his work in 'CASPER MEETS WENDY'. Current projects can be seen on Ray's IMDB profile.
